In RTS Arena, there is no need to build a base, and the player gets a strategic advantage by capturing important objects on the map. Instead of large armies, the player controls a squad of elite fighters, each with their own special skills and tactical roles. For many, this format is closer and more understandable.

There will also be several competitive modes. One-on-one is a serious competition, so to speak, the main "sports" mode, where the player relies only on his skill. But two-on-two matches are more fun, and they have more unpredictability. The main thing here is not the individual level of each player, but a well-coordinated team game.

We even have ideas for mobile and console versions, but first we need to "run in" the game as much as possible on the classic strategy platform - PC.

The importance of alpha tests and communication with players

Alpha test - testing of an early version of the game, which is carried out at the first stages of development to test the idea itself. Then the developers create a beta version that is closer to the final game.

In a few months we will release the first pre-alpha (a very early version of the game - ed.). We will distribute it to players for testing in order to collect their feedback. After all, no formulas can make the game fun. We want to reach as wide an audience as possible, and each player perceives the game in his own way, and this needs to be taken into account.

Changes will be made based on the data that we collect after the playtests. We will see what the players like and dislike, what needs to be changed, and what, perhaps, should be thrown out altogether. For example, we can weaken the attack power of one of the fighters, who is "pumped up", and replace a powerful grenade, which causes an imbalance in the game, with, for example, a motion scanner.

It is important to do such tests regularly, for example, monthly, or even better, every two weeks, gradually attracting more and more players to testing, and giving them a new more balanced version of the game.

We want our players to be involved in the creation of the game as well. Therefore, we decided to conduct the most "open" development, and not to close for several years and issue a product "on the mountain" when it is 100% ready and nothing can be changed.
